Natsume Takashi's a lonely boy who keeps it a secret that he can see spirits. But ever since he moved to this new place, spirits have been chasing him! It seems to be connected to something that belonged to his deceased grandmother Reiko; a scrapbook containing the names of spirits thus binding contracts with them. Natsume sets on dissolving the book and together with his self-styled cat as bodyguard, he spends his days returning the names to the spirits.
