The Good Witch of the West (Nishi no Yoki Majo)

Does anyone know more about this series? I think its based on a manga but I'm not sure. Anyway, the first episode is finally out- subbed by Anime-Keep - they always do a great job. Its sort of like a fairy-tale type story with an ordinary girl who finds out she's (of course) not who she thought she was which leads to mystery, intrigue, etc. Its hard to summarize from the first episode but it looks really intriguing. The background art is simply gorgeous and I hope they keep up the high quality!

yup it's based on the manga which is relatively new. it's got great art, but most probably this series will follow the manga to a certain point and branches off into a new conclusion as the manga is nowhere near the end yet.

Cool~~ I'll check it out However the dl speed sucks >___< I'm going with 5-10 kb~ Why on earth is it so slow when there are like more seeders than leechers? Sometimes I just cant figure bittorrent out... anyway been dl it for two days now.. almost there <____<

i've finally caught up and seen the first 5 episodes! i find this series a little odd does anyone feel the same way?- on one hand the art is gorgeous and the storyline is really intriguing with some really interesting mysteries but it gets so cheesy and melodramatic too...not to mention random HUGE breasts here and there. LOL. But its pretty funny when they poke fun at yuri/yaoi pairings- so i dunno- i still really like it but its sort of a strange show.

Really? I think it was odd in ep1 already and I didn't feel hooked at all... so I'm skipping out on this one *got more urgent things to do ^^*

Yeah I also really think it's odd xD, but I don't think it's that bad, though that pic of to be continued is a bit...uh...Roux looks like a girl O.o

I haven't see ep 5 yet, have to watch TsubasaRC first xD

5-10k d/l rate is quite common over here.
You need to complain to the ISP before it goes up... then...
down to 1~2 k again.

@aurumice: I liked it in the beginning but then it got weirder and weirder so I stopped watching it ^^;;
