Princess Princess

Yet another of DV's manga scanlations is made into an anime. Check out the information here: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4238 . The first episode was just released. What do you think of the episode? The only complaint I have so far is they made Akira Sakamoto so plain and ugly. He looks so much better in the manga.

Judging by the pic from the link, the character look too diff in the anime compare to the manga. The face doesn't display their personality as much. Hope the voice isn't much of a dissapointment.

I heard that this series is hilarious (anime).
I still do not know where to download this anime though.

I was SO disappointed with this anime <___< I really like Princess Princess, but well I'm definitely not going to follow the anime that's for sure. I hardly recognized Tooru and Mikoto seems totally altered! Yeah.. Akira looks bad as well... Only shihoudani resembles himsefl... and what's with that horrid blue hair of Tooru's?! No, I absolutely dun like the anime art so I'll stick to the manga ^^

The second episode is out already ?
That's fast. I've downloaded the first 1.
Did a fast forward to make sure the file is OK...and I noticed
the bizarre hair color!! Even the characters look different...they
look more 'getbackerish' somehow.

Maybe it's funny...will watch it later.

well .. i cant say that it's great as the manga ^_^;

but i kinda like it .. i loved Mikoto ..

the fact that he's trying so hard to hold on to his pride as a man makes him even cuter
he is so funny to tease .. => that shown in th 3rd episode ..

My friend is all crazy about puripuri and her fav is Mikoto, she finds his nickname Miko-chan really cute xD

But I'm not really into this anime (so I also haven't got a fav )... only the ending song x__x I've heard it too much...

Well, I watched the series before reading the anime so I really don't hate the anime. I'm hooked to it actually.

I was kinds surprised when I saw the manga. I was like where's Tooru and Mikoto?

The series as a whole is not much of a disappointment when you separate it from the manga or vice versa The series is pretty much enjoyable in either "medium".

@riku: My favorite is Mikoto too, at least for now, just by the pure fact that, yes, you can totally tease him so easily. I can't wait until they show Mikoto's girlfriend. I wonder how different she is going to be.

@camui: I prefer the artwork in the manga, but if the anime is following the story line of the manga, I can't wait until DV scanlates it since I'm sure to enjoy the manga. If you look at the anime in terms of the story, then it is indeed pretty enjoyable.

Mikoto's gf finally showed up.
This ep is really funny. Tooru and Shihoudani can't stop
teasing the poor Mikoto.

It's true the character art is not as good as the manga, and the voice actors are... Stiff... But if you put those two aside, it's really not all that bad! It's funny, has a good plot (is shounen-ai, but who cares about that?? It's not displayed too much... For now...). I can't help it, I really enjoy watching this series!

My fav character used to be mikoto too, until shihoudani's little bro came up... Now HE'S my fav character! Nya~! Such a cute little boy.
